Volunteer

You, volunteers, are an integral part of our organization and success. We highly appreciate your dedication, passion, and commitment to helping students in need of your help.

There are many benefits to being a volunteer at the Train of Thought Tutoring. You can make a substantial positive impact on the lives of others, even if it is just solving a simple addition problem. Being a volunteer will be a great addition to your resume and an excellent opportunity to gain service hours for high school and college students. Volunteering would help develop empathy, communication, and other social skills vital to the real world.

To be a volunteer, you must have at least completed middle school. High school volunteers are eligible to tutor students in grades K-8, and volunteers who have a high school diploma are eligible to tutor students in grades K-12. To volunteer, you must complete the application (the link is down below). After we review your application, we will contact you for an interview. After your interview, we will contact you to schedule your orientation. After that, you will be ready to board!

Students are matched with tutors based on availability and the subject(s) of need. It is the tutor's responsibility is to connect with the student or their parents/legal guardian in order to arrange session(s). Sessions can be either in person or online, depending on the convenience of the tutor and student.

Welcome on board, we are glad to have you!
